'The president appears unhinged': Trump's online behavior grows increasingly bizarre.

For numerous onlookers, both in the US and abroad, Donald Trump has been acting peculiarly recently. Especially online.

Recent Social Media Episodes

While a federal shutdown approached within the United States the previous week, Trump posted an AI video which depicted Hakeem Jeffries, the inaugural African American minority leader, sporting a Mexican hat with an oversized mustache, accompanied by mariachi tunes as audio backdrop.

Latino organizations condemned the social media content as "racist", "risky" and "disgraceful", yet Trump escalated, posting a new video which showed himself wearing a sombrero and playing the guitar with a representation of the minority leader.

Computer-Created Material and Unverified Claims

It wasn't the only situation in which the president's conduct looked peculiar. The previous weekend the president shared to Truth Social a computer-created false clip which promoted "medical bed facilities".

Each US resident will shortly obtain their own med bed card," the AI rendering of Trump seemingly in the Oval Office declared. Using this, you'll access certain admission to our new hospitals led by the top doctors throughout America."

Putting aside the reality that the concept of "medical beds" is a rightwing conspiracy theory – one version of the theory posits that the government and/or select rich individuals control sophisticated health technology that addresses multiple conditions, but are withholding the technology – the president's share generated multiple inquiries.

White House Reaction

The entry was finally taken down, but it remains baffling, and the presidential team's answer did little to allay the perplexity.

In my opinion, the president watched the footage and posted it, then removed it," the White House press secretary commented during questioning about the clip.

Further Troubling Events

In a recent speech in the presidential residence where Trump claimed – against most existing evidence – that Tylenol could contribute to autism when consumed by pregnant women, Trump confusingly spoke regarding "particular components of intelligence that might be bestowed upon infants".

The previous week, during a press conference with British prime minister Keir Starmer, Trump confused Albania with Armenia during conversation about a diplomatic settlement created between the countries.

Michigan Shooting Handling

Returning to online platforms, the commander-in-chief shared on his social media platform that he had "been briefed" regarding a shooting at a religious facility in Michigan which killed four people.

He did indeed post again. However, it wasn't information on the still unfolding tragedy in Michigan. Conversely, a few hours subsequently, he shared a video which showed an array of gold-plated items and ornaments.

Military Address

Beyond the bewildering social media activity, the commander-in-chief's live presentations have likewise grown peculiar.

The other day, the president called the country's top military commanders to a conference in the state. Talking to high-ranking officers, Trump, seeming fatigued, highlighted his purported accomplishments.

Our nation is honored again globally. The nation wasn't esteemed during Biden's tenure," Trump stated. They witnessed him tumbling on staircases regularly. Every day, the guy's falling down stairs."

Government Comments

The presentation caused immediate alarm, involving ex-defense officials. Barry McCaffrey, a retired general commented to media that the commander-in-chief's delivery was "one of the most bizarre, unsettling events I've ever encountered".

"The president sounded incoherent, weary, highly divisive, at times stupid," the general stated.

Trump's speech was enough for Representative Madeleine Dean, a Democratic congresswoman from Pennsylvania, to challenge the Republican congressional leader, Mike Johnson.

"The president is unhinged. He seems unhealthy," Dean told Johnson.

Johnson looked untroubled by the remarks. "Actually numerous people on your side are too," the speaker answered.
